John Bicos, who socked two homers in San Rafael's regular season finale Sunday against Monterey, kept up his hot swinging Monday with a double, homer and five RBIs as the Pacifics opened their first-round playoff series with an 8-3 home win over Martinez at Albert Park. Chris Allen went all the way for San Rafael, scattering three runs and seven hits. Andrew Curran had three of those Sturgeon hits, including an RBI double, while Evan Liebl added a solo homer.
