July 22 2023 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Dublin Leprechauns 13-2 behind a 14-hit attack at Albert Park. San Rafael scored in seven of the eight listed innings, building a 3-2 lead after the first before adding two runs in the second and third innings and continuing to pull away. Dublin finished with nine hits and one error, while the Pacifics committed one error.
Kevin Johnson led San Rafael with two hits and three RBI, while
Beau Dorman added two hits and two RBI.
Mike Theisen hit a home run and drove in two runs, and
Dan Crossan scored three times while contributing a triple, a hit and an RBI.
Kyle Guerra went 2-for-3 with two walks, two runs, an RBI and a triple.
Kohto Hasegawa also went 3-for-4 at the plate.
Hasegawa earned the win with eight innings of nine-hit ball, allowing two runs—one earned—with four strikeouts and no walks.
Tanner Broodhead took the loss for Dublin after allowing eight hits and eight runs, six earned, in four innings.
Marcelo Garcia-Cruz and
JC Shepherd combined to finish the game for the Leprechauns.

Saul Razo had two hits and an RBI. The Leprechauns scored both of their runs in the first inning, but San Rafael answered with three in the bottom half and maintained control the rest of the way.
