July 23 2019 The Roswell Invaders rallied for three runs in the eighth inning and held on to defeat the Alpine Cowboys 7-6. Roswell collected 12 hits, overcoming a 6-4 deficit after Alpine scored twice in the sixth and once in the seventh.
Matt Paciello led Roswell with two hits and three RBI, while Jalin Lawson added two hits and two RBI. Jared Hagan went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, and Pete Yorgen contributed two hits and an RBI. For Alpine, Sam Little hit a two-run home run and finished with two hits and two RBI. C. Graves also had two hits and an RBI.
Carson Corff worked six innings for Roswell, allowing six hits and five runs, three earned, while striking out six. Jacob Guilianelli earned the win with a scoreless inning, and John Saviano secured the save with a hitless ninth inning and one strikeout. Alpine starter Aaron Marquez allowed five hits and three runs over five innings, while Jake Woods was charged with the loss after surrendering four hits and three runs in two-thirds of an inning.
