3/9/2018-The Hollywood Stars set many Pecos League Records in Friday Mornings Game. Topeka wore Salina Stockade Jerseys in the game. Their jerseys were lost by the clubbie and found later in the day. Cole Fenner became the first Ambidextrous pitcher in Pecos Spring League History. He threw with both arms in the same inning and brought two gloves to the mound.

Zach Clement turned the a first inning Triple Play. Manny Lujan hit a rocket that was fielded by Third Baseman Zach Clement who fed Cory Palmaras to turn the first ever triple play in the seven year history of the Pecos Spring League. The Stars would go on to set the runs scored record in the Pecos Spring League as well.

Kyrawn Whitfield started and pitched two scoreless innings for the Stars Randy Hair allowed 9 runs in the 4th inning without getting an out. Johnny Ramirez came in and pitched three scoreless innings to preserve a win for the Stars

Topeka couldn't stop Hollywood's offense. Clatyon Farris pitched two innings allowing 8 runs with 8 walks and only 1 hit. Isiah Spencer pitched 2/3 of an inning allowing 6 runs on 4 hits. Roy Graf-Brennen pitched 1/3 of an inning allowing 0 runs. Cole Feener pitched 2-1/3 inning allowing 5 runs on 6 hits. Manny Lujan pitched 2/3 of an inning allowing 3 hits and 2 runs.

The Train Robbers scored 9 runs in 4th inning to bring the close but never could stop the Stars. Cole Fenner and Manny Lujan homered for the Train Robbers.

Zach Clement was 3-5 and Timothy Carter was 3-4 for the Stars. Johnny Ramirez scored 4 runs and closed out the game for the Stars.

"This was the worst Spring League Game I have been apart of. After we beat the Apollos allowing 2 runs we allow 21 runs to Hollywood." said manager Bryan Kloppe. The Stars are now 1-1-1, The Train Robbers are now 1-2. Hollywood Stars 21 Topeka Train Robbers 9
