7/9/2013-

An exceptional effort by Ted LeMasters led the Las Vegas Train Robbers (31-21) to a 10-9 win in 10 innings over the Trinidad Triggers (31-23) on Tuesday at Central Park.

LeMasters rocked the Trinidad Triggers with two home runs. LeMasters went 3-5 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. LeMasters homered in the fourth and eighth innings.

Each team blasted the others pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 26 hits during the game. There were 12 pitchers used in the game as the two managers searched for any way to finish it off.

Ben Runyon improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. Runyon struck out three, walked one and gave up two hits.

John Sullivan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
