Florios three-run blast propels the Trinidad Triggers past the Roswell Invaders 6-5

Three first-inning runs helped the Trinidad Triggers (26-18) to a 6-5 win over the Roswell Invaders (33-13) at Joe Bauman Park on Saturday.

A three-run home run by Frank Florio delivered the runs in the first. The Trinidad Triggers had one hit in the inning.

Florio led the Trinidad Triggers offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He scored one run and had three RBIs.

Chris Tuttle got his fifth win for the Trinidad Triggers despite allowing five runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked five and surrendered five hits.

Dominick Ruscitti took the loss for the Roswell Invaders. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked five and struck out six.
