The Santa Fe Fuego make the most of 10 hits in 8-5 victory over the Trinidad Triggers

The Santa Fe Fuego (19-22) and the Trinidad Triggers (25-16) both had scoring chances on Wednesday, but it was the Santa Fe Fuego that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-5 win at Central Park.

Jimmy Maxwell racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Jared Bowser recorded his first win of the year for the Santa Fe Fuego. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Zach Leitten ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
