Andrew Lopez had two extra base hits, sparking the Las Vegas Train Robbers (21-16) to an 8-3 victory over the Raton Osos (6-30) on Friday at Rodriguez Park.

He singled in the fifth inning, doubled in the seventh inning, and homered in the eighth inning.

Stedman Smith racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Raton Osos. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and tripled in the fifth inning.

Chuck Fontana got the win, running his season record to 3-1. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jesse Meier (0-1) was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.

Randy Wells, Lopez and John Hotta helped lead the Las Vegas Train Robbers. They combined for seven hits and five RBIs.
