This game was played on 8/29/2017 at AirHogs Stadium
Charley Thurber made a game saving grab with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the 9th. With a full count and runners moving Logan Trowbridge smoked a ball to centerfield that was caught ending the game 3-1 in favor of the Airhogs.
Leuris Gomez pitched eight innings allowing just one run and three hits. David Gates took the loss for Salina allowing 2 runs in first inning.
Ryne Willard tripled home a run and later scored himself which would prove all the Airhogs would need to hold on for victory.
The two teams will play again tomorrow in Grand Prarie at 11AM CST.
