Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Monday as the Topeka Train Robbers (26-33) outscored the Great Bend Boom (19-41) 10-9 in 11 innings.

The teams totaled 21 hits in the game.

Chris Scura did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Topeka Train Robbers, reaching base three times. He singled in the sixth and eleventh innings.

Tyler Shannon improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Topeka Train Robbers. He allowed one run over 4 2/3 innings. Shannon struck out four, walked two and gave up four hits.

Lawrence Chavez (0-2) took the loss for the Great Bend Boom. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
