Frazier helps the Trinidad Triggers down the Alpine Cowboys 7-6


The Trinidad Triggers (26-20) beat the Alpine Cowboys (24-23) 7-6 in seven innings on Friday at Central Park behind Brian Frazier, who had two extra base hits. He doubled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

The Alpine Cowboys lineup had no answer for Toby Eigner. Eigner held the Alpine Cowboys hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.

Seth McLemore racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Alpine Cowboys. He homered in the third inning.

Adam Ogburn (3-1) took the loss for the Alpine Cowboys. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.

Frazier, Edmund Cheatham and Eric Schneider helped lead the Trinidad Triggers. They combined for five hits and five RBIs.
