Morris helps the Tucson Saguaros down the Roswell Invaders 3-2

Michael Morris had two extra base hits as the Tucson Saguaros (34-12) took home a 3-2 victory over the Roswell Invaders (31-14) in seven innings at Warren on Sunday. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, and homered in the seventh inning.

Cameron Cox handled the Roswell Invaders lineup with ease, racking up four strikeouts. Cox allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks over five innings.

Kaohu Gasper was hot from the plate for the Roswell Invaders. Gasper went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

David Robles recorded his second win of the year for the Tucson Saguaros. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Lance Fairchild (4-2) took the loss for the Roswell Invaders. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.

The Tucson Saguaros were sparked by Morris and Jesse Baker, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.
