The Tucson Saguaros make the most of 11 hits in 6-5 victory over the Roswell Invaders

The Tucson Saguaros (33-11) and the Roswell Invaders (30-13) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Tucson Saguaros capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-5 win at Kino Veterans.

Michael Rampone put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Tucson Saguaros. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, and tripled in the seventh inning.

Brandon Cook pitched lights out for the Tucson Saguaros. Cook held the Roswell Invaders hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.

Cody Bishop had a hot bat for the Roswell Invaders. Bishop went 3-5 and scored one run. He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

The Tucson Saguaros were sparked by Rampone and Jesse Baker, who teamed up for six hits and two RBIs.

Alex Dandridge was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked three, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
