The Tucson Saguaros beat up on the Trinidad Triggers 16-2

The Tucson Saguaros (29-9) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 16-2 landslide win over the Trinidad Triggers (21-16) at Kino Veterans.

The Tucson Saguaros scored six runs in the sixth on the Tucson Saguaros scored in the sixth on an RBI double by Burnell Dailey, an RBI single by Davon Poole, a solo home run by Adam Urbania, a two-run home run by Urbania, an RBI double by Danny Droll, and an RBI double by Droll.

Dailey racked up two RBIs on four hits for the Tucson Saguaros.

Daniel Diaz struck out 13 hitters en route to the the Tucson Saguaros win. Diaz allowed two earned runs, six hits and one walk over 8 1/3 innings.

Caleb Baker went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the Trinidad Triggers. He singled in the second, fourth, and seventh innings.

Denver Diefenbach ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
