The Trinidad Triggers jump on the Great Bend Boom early and coast to 13-2 win

The Trinidad Triggers (20-13) jumped out to an early lead on the Great Bend Boom (11-15) and captured a 13-2 victory on Monday at Central Park.

The game was decided quickly as the Trinidad Triggers exerted their will early with seven runs in the first three innings. An RBI single by Christopher Buitron, a wild pitch, a wild pitch, and a passed ball in the first inning and a groundout by Trevor Sealey during the second inning helped the Trinidad Triggers put some runs on the board early.

Brian Frazier racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Christian Schneider allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out three over six innings of work.

Tevin Padgett had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third inning.
