The Trinidad Triggers make the most of 8 hits in 4-3 victory over the Alpine Cowboys

The Trinidad Triggers (16-9) and the Alpine Cowboys (10-12) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Trinidad Triggers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Central Park.

Eric Williams racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Trinidad Triggers. He homered in the first innings.

Joe Robinsons nine strikeouts were enough to push the Trinidad Triggers past the Alpine Cowboys. Robinson allowed one earned run on six hits and no walks over six innings.

The Alpine Cowboys were led by Eric Fergusons hitting. Ferguson went 3-4 and scored two runs. He singled in the second, sixth, and eighth innings.

Joey Webb (4-1) was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
