Thomas McKenna drove in three runs as the Tucson Saguaros (19-6) took home a 10-7 victory over the Santa Fe Fuego (5-20) at Kino Veterans on Saturday. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the eighth inning.
The Santa Fe Fuego were led by a flawless day at the dish by Joey Lacugna, who went 4-4 against the Tucson Saguaros pitching. He singled in the second, fourth, sixth, and seventh innings.
Roby Romero improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Tucson Saguaros. Romero struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.
Harol Rosario (0-1) took the loss for the Santa Fe Fuego. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked two and struck out none.
