Frazier helps the Trinidad Triggers down the Alpine Cowboys 9-6

The Trinidad Triggers (15-9) beat the Alpine Cowboys (10-11) 9-6 on Saturday at Central Park behind Brian Frazier, who clubbed two home runs. He homered in the third and fifth innings.

Jake Swartout pitched lights out for the Trinidad Triggers. The Alpine Cowboys managed just one hit off of Swartout, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six during his two innings of work.

Reagan Rutledge was hot from the plate for the Alpine Cowboys. Rutledge went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.

Daniel Karasinski got his second win for the Trinidad Triggers despite allowing six runs over seven innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered 12 hits.

Kevin Klaess was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked four and struck out four.

The Trinidad Triggers Frazier, Eric Magee, Trevor Sealey and Eric Williams combined for 10 hits and seven RBIs.
