The Topeka Train Robbers (4-9) beat the Great Bend Boom (8-5) 6-1 on Friday at Al Burns Field behind Ian Home, who went 1-4.

He singled in the sixth inning.

The Great Bend Booms lineup had no answer for John De Leon. De Leon gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked 10 and struck out five during his 6 2/3 innings of work.

Ian Miller was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
