Zarawiczs walk-off single send the Santa Fe Fuego home winners 14-13

A walk-off single from Thomas Zarawicz brought home the winning run for the Santa Fe Fuego (1-5) in a 14-13 victory over the Trinidad Triggers at Fort Marcy Park on Tuesday.

Anthony Ruggiero rocked the Santa Fe Fuego with two home runs. Ruggiero went 3-5 in the game with four RBIs and five runs scored. Ruggiero homered in the third and ninth innings.

Each team blasted the others pitching, and there were 27 total runs and 28 hits during the game. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using seven pitchers in total.

Jimmy Daley improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. He allowed two runs over two innings. Daley struck out four, walked none and gave up four hits.

Scott Stonestreet couldnt get it done on the hill for the Trinidad Triggers (3-2), taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.

The Santa Fe Fuegos Kevin Alverez, Steven Taft, Eric Maria and Matt Haskins combined for eight hits and eight RBIs.
