Early lead gives the Alpine Cowboys easy victory over the White Sands Pupfish 23-4


The Alpine Cowboys (1-1) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring 10 runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 23-4 win over the White Sands Pupfish (1-1) at Kokernot Field.

Joey Webb improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Alpine Cowboys. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Webb struck out three, walked none and gave up eight hits.

Dametrus Ingram (0-1) took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out one.

The Alpine Cowboys pounded the White Sands Pupfish pitching, as seven hitters combined for 14 hits, 18 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
