Meadows leads the Roswell Invaders to 9-5 win over the Alpine Cowboys


An awesome effort by Nolan Meadows lifted the Roswell Invaders (35-27) to a 9-5 win over the Alpine Cowboys (37-25) on Wednesday at Kokernot Field.

Meadows rocked the Alpine Cowboys with two home runs. Meadows went 3-4 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Meadows homered in the second and third innings.

Ryan Davis picked up the win for the Roswell Invaders. Davis allowed one earned run, seven hits and four walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Derrick Fox boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Alpine Cowboys. He singled in the first, third, and ninth innings.

Brad Orosey couldnt get it done on the hill for the Alpine Cowboys, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked one and struck out six.
