Julio Rodriguez had two extra base hits as the Garden City Wind (14-40) took home an 8-5 victory over the Trinidad Triggers (39-17) at Clint Lightner on Saturday.

He doubled in the second inning, singled in the seventh inning, and homered in the eighth inning.

The Garden City Wind relied on Craig Jaquez to eat up innings en route to the win. Jaquez pitched eight innings and allowed no earned runs, nine hits and five walks while striking out six.

Caleb Bryson racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He singled in the fourth inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Joe Robinson couldnt get it done on the bump for the Trinidad Triggers, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs.

The Garden City Winds Albert Gonzalez, Edgard Munoz, Rodriguez and Chris Cruz combined for seven hits and seven RBIs.
