The Roswell Invaders need extra frames to finish the White Sands Pupfish win 6-4


The Roswell Invaders (30-25) took home a marathon 6-4 victory over the White Sands Pupfish (32-22) on Wednesday at Griggs Park.

With the score tied at four, Aaron Carman came to the plate and singled, bringing home Michael Morris.

Roche Woodard racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Roswell Invaders. He homered in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Aaron Nardone was hot from the plate for the White Sands Pupfish. Nardone went 2-5 and scored two runs. He singled in the third inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

Juan Vega recorded his second win of the year for the Roswell Invaders. Vega struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Joe McCarty (4-3) took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
