Henrys single gives the Alpine Cowboys walk-off win over the Roswell Invaders 8-7


A walk-off single from Tim Henry brought home the winning run for the Alpine Cowboys (27-18) in an 8-7 victory over the Roswell Invaders (24-21) in 11 innings at Joe Bauman Park on Saturday.

Henry did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Alpine Cowboys, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the eleventh inning.

Daniel Aldrich had two extra-base hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He homered in the fifth inning and doubled in the tenth inning.

Ryan Richardson improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Alpine Cowboys. Richardson struck out three, walked none and gave up two hits.

Ryan Calby couldnt get it done on the rubber for the Roswell Invaders, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed one run.

The Alpine Cowboys Matt Henriksen, Aldrich and Riley Smith combined for six hits and four RBIs.
