Key at bat helps the Trinidad Triggers defeat the White Sands Pupfish 8-7

Shane Casey came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as Casey reached on a in the six to lead the Trinidad Triggers (23-12) to an 8-7 win over the White Sands Pupfish (22-14) on Thursday at Central Park.

Brian Frazier blasted two home runs for the Trinidad Triggers. Frazier went 2-3 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Frazier homered in the second and seventh innings.

Jake Swartout brought the heat against the White Sands Pupfish during his outing. Swartout held the White Sands Pupfish hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Joe Borowski racked up three RBIs on one hit for the White Sands Pupfish. He homered in the third inning.

Ritchie Sunija couldnt get it done on the bump for the White Sands Pupfish, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed one run.
