The Trinidad Triggers outdone by Taft and the Las Vegas Train Robbers 7-5


Steven Taft went 2-5 and hit a home run as the Las Vegas Train Robbers (10-14) took home a 7-5 victory over the Trinidad Triggers (17-7) at Central Park on Sunday. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Caleb Bryson had two extra-base hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He homered in the fourth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Casey Hood recorded his second win for the Las Vegas Train Robbers even though he allowed five runs over seven innings. He struck out five, walked four and surrendered seven hits.

Richie Anderson couldnt get it done on the hill for the Trinidad Triggers, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
