Offenses dominate as the Las Vegas Train Robbers outscore the White Sands Pupfish 13-9

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Las Vegas Train Robbers (8-12) outscored the White Sands Pupfish (13-9) 13-9.

The teams totaled 36 hits in the game.

Steven Taft racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He singled in the first and eighth innings and doubled in the fifth and ninth innings.

Brandon Burkes had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He doubled in the second inning, singled in the seventh inning, and tripled in the fourth and ninth innings.

Kyer Vega recorded his first win of the year for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered nine hits.

Derek Meyer couldnt get it done on the rubber for the White Sands Pupfish, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked one and struck out one.
