Horan allows no runs to lead the Trinidad Triggers past the Garden City Wind 11-1


Matt Horan held the Garden City Wind (0-6) scoreless for eight innings to boost the Trinidad Triggers (6-0) to a 11-1 victory.

Horan struck out six and allowed one walk and six hits.

The Trinidad Triggers continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Trinidad Triggers scored four runs in the last three innings to finish off the blowout win. The Trinidad Triggers scored three runs in the seventh on the Trinidad Triggers scored in the seventh on a two-run single by Luc Pomales and an RBI single by Trevor Sealey.

Caleb Johnson had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first and third innings and singled in the eighth inning.

Craig Jaquez was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.

The Trinidad Triggers were sparked by Caleb Bryson and Bryan Frazier, who teamed up for seven hits and six RBIs.
