The Alpine Cowboys escape the White Sands Pupfish behind Figliolas 6 strikeouts 12-0


A magnificent effort by Anthony Figliola lifted the Alpine Cowboys (44-19) to a 12-0 win in seven innings over the White Sands Pupfish (26-31) on Tuesday.

Figliola held the White Sands Pupfish scoreless during his seven innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on three hits while striking out six.

The Alpine Cowboys continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Alpine Cowboys scored three runs in the final one innings to cap the blowout win.
