The Bisbee Blue best the Douglas Diablos in shootout 17-10

Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Bisbee Blue (29-22) and the Douglas Diablos (23-28), as the two teams put up 27 runs combined in a 17-10 the Bisbee Blue win.

The two teams combined for 35 hits in the game.

Seven runs in the first three innings helped the Bisbee Blue blow out the Douglas Diablos. A two-run home run by Daniel Aldrich during the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Mike Perrone, a two-run triple by Antonio Alvarez, an RBI double by Aldrich, and an RBI double by Chris Allen in the second inning supplied the early offense for the Bisbee Blue.

Aldrich racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Bisbee Blue.

Even though Craig Lipp allowed 10 runs over eight innings he still recorded the victory, his third of the season. He struck out six, walked three and surrendered 16 hits.

Mike Bradstreet couldnt get it done on the rubber for the Douglas Diablos, taking a loss. He allowed 12 runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.

The Bisbee Blue easily handled the Douglas Diablos pitching as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 13 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
