The Douglas Diablos (21-25) jumped out to an early lead on the White Sands Pupfish (21-23) and captured an 11-4 victory on Sunday at Alamogordo NM.

With six runs in the first three innings, the Douglas Diablos left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A sacrifice fly by Ryan Dimascio and an RBI single by Derek Voigt during the first inning helped the Douglas Diablos put some runs on the board early.

Malquiel Brito had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the sixth inning, and singled in the ninth inning.

Preston Lyon reached base three times in the game for the White Sands Pupfish. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Mike Bradstreet improved to 4-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Douglas Diablos. He allowed four runs over nine innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered 14 hits.

Miguel Pereira couldnt get it done on the mound for the White Sands Pupfish, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.

The Douglas Diablos hammered the White Sands Pupfish pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 14 hits, seven RBIs and eight runs scored.
