The Santa Fe Fuego score early and often in 12-3 win over the Taos Blizzard

The Santa Fe Fuego (28-18) continued to pile up the runs on Tuesday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 12-3 landslide win over the Taos Blizzard (16-28) at Fort Marcy Park.

The Santa Fe Fuego scored five runs in the sixth on the Santa Fe Fuego scored in the sixth on a groundout by Aaron Carman, a two-run single by Joey LaCugna, and a two-run home run by Josh Downing.

Charles Johnson reached base four times in the game for the Santa Fe Fuego. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings.

Downing picked up the win for the Santa Fe Fuego. Downing pitched eight innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and three walks while striking out six.

Dominic SanFelippo had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the third inning, and homered in the ninth inning.

Dayron Silva-Perez couldnt get it done on the hill for the Taos Blizzard, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.

The Santa Fe Fuego pounded the Taos Blizzard pitching, as seven hitters combined for 16 hits, 10 RBIs and nine runs scored.
