The Bisbee Blue make the most of 8 hits in 9-6 victory over the Roswell Invaders

The Bisbee Blue (25-15) and the Roswell Invaders (23-17) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Bisbee Blue that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 9-6 win at Warren Ballpark.

The Bisbee Blue were led by a flawless day at the dish by Mike Perrone, who went 3-3 against the Roswell Invaders pitching. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the third inning, and tripled in the sixth inning.

The Roswell Invaders were led by Ryan Retzs hitting. Retz went 4-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, second, seventh, and ninth innings.

Ryan Calby got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed four runs over 6 2/3 innings. Calby struck out four, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Josh Mooney (7-1) took the loss for the Roswell Invaders. He allowed nine runs in seven innings, walked six and struck out six.
