The Las Vegas Train Robbers make the most of 6 hits in 4-3 victory over the Santa Fe Fuego

The Las Vegas Train Robbers (9-16) and the Santa Fe Fuego (16-11) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Las Vegas Train Robbers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-3 win at Rodriguez Park.

Josh Tols baffled the Santa Fe Fuego, striking out six batters. Tols allowed two earned runs, seven hits and no walks over seven innings.

Nick Billinger racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Santa Fe Fuego. He singled in the first, fifth, and eighth innings.

Matthew Paz improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Briston Clingman couldnt get it done on the rubber for the Santa Fe Fuego, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed no runs.
