A walk-off single from Andrew Arp brought home the winning run for the Roswell Invaders (20-8) in an 8-7 victory over the Alpine Cowboys (22-8) at Joe Bauman Park on Tuesday.

Arp paced the Roswell Invaders at the plate. Arp went 4-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth, seventh, and ninth innings.

The Alpine Cowboys were led by Tyler Hecks hitting. Heck went 4-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the fourth, fifth, and eighth innings.

Nick Hernandez got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed one run over one inning. Hernandez struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.

Scotty Hong (1-1) was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
