San Rafael Pacifics defeat depleated Santa Rosa Scuba Divers 22-3 to take Game 1

8/2/2022-It took all of the pitching and effort for the Santa Rosa Scuba Divers to get into the Pecos League Playoffs. After winning a play in game on Monday Night and having to win 4 of their last 5 games to force the play in game the Divers faced a rested #1 seed in the San Rafael Pacifics. The Pacifics wasted no time taking advantage of this. The Pacifics had 20 hits lead by 2 home runs from Tyler Georgeson. Jonathan Waite and Jalil Marinez also homered for the Pacifics. Evan Bacani, Beau Dorman and Mickey Nunes all had three hits for the Pacifics.

On the mound for the Pacifics it was Kohto Hasegawa who got game one start. He was limited to four innings with the large lead. Kyle Ulanday threw the last five innings.

For the Divers it was Garrett Woll who started. He went two innings allowing nine hits and ten runs. Antwon Herdon-Walker pitched 4-1/3 innings allowing 11 runs. Angel Chavez had two hits for the Divers. The two teams play game two on Wednesday 8/3/2022 at 6:00 PM at Albert Park.
