The Roswell Invaders offense erupts for 16 runs in blowout victory over the Douglas Diablos


The Roswell Invaders (16-6) continued to pile up the runs on Wednesday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 16-3 landslide win over the Douglas Diablos (7-14) at Joe Bauman Park.

The Roswell Invaders scored five runs in the fifth on the Roswell Invaders scored in the fifth on a two-run double by Matt Streich, an RBI single by Jordan Johnson, and a two-run single by Sam Montgomery.

Montgomery racked up five RBIs on five hits for the Roswell Invaders.

Tyler Garkow racked up 14 strikeouts in the the Roswell Invaders win. Garkow allowed three earned runs, eight hits and one walk over nine innings.

Ryan Dimascio racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Douglas Diablos. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fourth and ninth innings.

Tim OCalighan couldnt get it done on the rubber for the Douglas Diablos, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked three, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
