A superb effort by Pat Lemmo lifted the Alpine Cowboys (16-6) to a 5-0 win over the Douglas Diablos on Saturday at Kokernot Field.

Lemmo held the Douglas Diablos (6-9) scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up seven.

Casanova Donaldson had two extra-base hits for the Alpine Cowboys. He doubled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Edison Alvarez couldnt get it done on the hill for the Douglas Diablos, taking a loss. He lasted just eight innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.

The Alpine Cowboys were sparked by Riley Smith and Donaldson, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.
