Kennedy allows no runs to lead the Alpine Cowboys past the White Sands Pupfish 8-0


Brett Kennedy held the White Sands Pupfish (4-9) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Alpine Cowboys (12-5) to a 8-0 victory.

Kennedy allowed five hits, no walks and struck out five.

Five runs in the opening three innings allowed the Alpine Cowboys to easily put away the White Sands Pupfish. A double by Casanova Donaldson, a groundout by Tyler Heck, a sacrifice fly by Austin Prott, and an RBI single by Riley Smith in the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Donaldson and a groundout by Heck during the second inning supplied the early offense for the Alpine Cowboys.

Prott racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Alpine Cowboys.

Ian Drapsho was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
