The Las Vegas Train Robbers (3-9)s six first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home an 8-6 win over the Raton Osos (5-5) on Sunday at Gabriele Park.

Brett Mendoza racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Las Vegas Train Robbers. He homered in the first inning.

Billy Young got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed four runs over five innings. Young struck out two, walked one and gave up four hits.

Mitchell (0-1) took the loss for the Raton Osos. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.
