1/27/2024-The Houston Apollos will play an exhibition against FepCube on Monday 1/29/2024 at UMiami. This is an historic event for FepCube who along with the Apollos spent months building a team to goto an International Tournament in Colombia. When the tournament was canceled the two teams agreed to play a single game in Miami.

Cuban Legend Jose Contreras will start of the mound for Cuba. All time Pecos League wins leader Edilson Alvarez will start of the mound for the Apollos. World Series MVP Livan Hernadez will throw out the first pitch to Cuban Jose Cheche Rodriguez of the Apollos.

The Houston Apollos will play the Cuban Dream Team on Monday Night at the University of Miami. The Cuban Dream Team features several major league All-Stars and has two World Series MVPS. The Apollos are comprised of players from Independent baseball with eleven players who played in the Pecos League.

The Apollos will also be bringing one pitcher and two coaches from the Houston Team Cuba which is in alliance with FepCube. Jose "Cheche" Rodriguez was recently the MVP of Houston Coastal Baseball Classic and will be in the opening ceremonies as well as pitching in the game.

FepCube is The Cuban Profesional Baseball Federation has the vision of providing opportunities to those whom are passionate for the game of baseball.

The Houston Apollos are in their 24th year of baseball and have played exhibition games against the best teams in North America including the Tijuana Toros. The Apollos played the 2021 season in the American Association.
