Roswell Invaders Pull Away From Santa Fe Fuego

June 26 2018 The Roswell Invaders defeated the Santa Fe Fuego 11-3 in a seven-inning game at Joe Bauman Park. Roswell broke through with four runs in the third inning and added four more in the fourth to take control. The Invaders also scored once in the fifth and twice in the sixth while Santa Fe scored twice in the sixth and once in the seventh.

Logan Coughlin led Roswell with two hits and three RBI while Nolan Hoff also drove in three runs. B. Portelli added two RBI, and Jordan Garr finished with two hits and two runs scored. Roswell collected 10 hits and drew seven walks.

Santa Fe recorded 12 hits in the loss. Mike Annone went 3-for-4 with an RBI, Danny Beaver had two hits, and Ryan Arena tripled and drove in two runs. The Fuego committed two errors while Roswell finished without an error.

Ricky Mitchell earned the win for Roswell after allowing three runs on 12 hits in seven innings. He walked one and struck out four. Jackson Webb took the loss for Santa Fe, giving up 10 runs on nine hits with seven walks and one strikeout in five innings; seven of the runs were earned. C. Bumbales allowed one run in the sixth inning.
