Ruidoso Osos Rally Past Roswell Invaders 13-9

June 3 2018 The Ruidoso Osos overcame a 5-4 deficit with an eight-run sixth inning and defeated the Roswell Invaders 13-9. Ruidoso finished with 15 hits, while Roswell collected 18. The Osos opened the game with three runs in the first inning and added one in the fourth before their decisive sixth-inning outburst.

James Garnett led Ruidoso with three hits in five at-bats, including a home run, three runs and three RBI. Jeremy Delgado drove in two runs, while Brock Hartley added two hits and two RBI. Seth Brosius contributed a double and an RBI. Roswell’s Dillon McTague went 4-for-5 with two doubles and two runs, and B. Portelli had two hits, two walks and two runs. Roswell hit five home runs, with Louis Martini, Nolan Hoff, J. Pritchard, Portelli and Jordan Ackerman each going deep.

Zach Youngberg earned the win for Ruidoso after allowing 11 hits and six runs in six innings, with three strikeouts and one walk. Victor Flores worked two innings and allowed three runs, while Skyler Henderson pitched a scoreless ninth. Austin DeLozier took the loss for Roswell after recording two outs and allowing five runs on three hits.
