Roswell Invaders Outlast Ruidoso Osos 10-8

July 28 2011 The Roswell Invaders defeated the Ruidoso Osos 10-8 in a high-scoring game on July 28 2011. Roswell collected 15 hits and scored in six innings, while Ruidoso finished with nine hits. The Invaders overcame a four-run second inning by the Osos and moved ahead with two runs in the seventh and two more in the eighth. Clifton Thomas and Justin Uribe each recorded three hits for Roswell. Thomas scored twice and drove in two runs, while Uribe scored twice and added one RBI. Adrian Martinez went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs, and Brian Ramirez contributed one hit and two RBIs. Brycen Bell had two hits and one RBI, including two doubles. Ruidoso received two hits from Chris Juarez, who also scored twice, while Drew Peterson had two hits and an RBI. Jerome Dunning drove in two runs, and Sean Proni and Chris Davis each added one RBI. Ruidoso starter Erick Campos allowed five runs in four innings, and Andrew Plotkin took the loss after surrendering three runs in three innings.
