Martinez Sturgeon Hold Off San Rafael Pacifics 14-12
The Martinez Sturgeon improved to 2-0 with a wild 14-12 win over the San Rafael Pacifics on May 22, 2026. Martinez built a big early lead and survived a late San Rafael rally to earn the road victory.
The Sturgeon came out swinging, scoring four runs in the first inning and adding another run in the second. Martinez later broke the game open with three runs in the fifth and six more in the sixth, finishing the night with 14 runs on 15 hits.
Jacob Klinovsky powered the Martinez offense, hitting two home runs and driving in four runs.
