10/7/2025-Jason Rooks lead the way for the Garden City Wind in 2025. Rooks hit 19 home runs with a .436 batting average and 88 rbis to lead the Garden City Wind to the Pecos League's overall number 1 record. Jason also stole 10 bases and had 3 triples.

Jason played two years in the Pecos League for the Trinidad Triggers in 2022 and 2023. He split the 2024 season between the Lexington Legends of the Atlantic League and the Billings Mustangs of the Pioneer League. He played College Baseball at Virginia Tech.
