June 13 2025 The Dublin Leprechauns defeated the Monterey Amberjacks 15-8 at Ofallon Field. Dublin collected 17 hits and scored in six innings while Monterey finished with eight hits and four errors.
Dublin broke the game open with an eight-run second inning after taking a 1-0 lead in the first. The Leprechauns added two runs in the third and three in the fourth to build a 14-4 advantage. Monterey scored twice in each of the fifth and sixth innings before Dublin added its final run in the seventh.
Dylan Leek led Dublin with three hits five runs and one RBI.
Sam Ott added two hits and three RBI while
DJ Aceron Jr. had three hits and two RBI.
Carson Richter hit a two-run home run and scored twice. Monterey’s
Alex Elliott hit two home runs and drove in four runs while
Oswaldo Caldera contributed two RBI.
John Inglis earned the win for Dublin after allowing eight runs on eight hits in six innings with four walks and six strikeouts.
Kenneth Stewart followed with two hitless scoreless innings and four strikeouts and
Makana Fo completed the shutout ninth. Monterey starter
Jason Hartwick took the loss after surrendering nine runs on nine hits in two innings.
