Roswell Invaders Roll Past Trinidad Triggers 14-6

June 8 2024 The Roswell Invaders defeated the Trinidad Triggers 14-6 at Central Park behind a five-run second inning four-run third and five-run fifth. Trinidad scored once in the third twice in the fourth once in the fifth and twice in the ninth but could not overcome Roswell’s early offensive surge.

Jonathan Cavazos led Roswell with three hits four RBI and two runs while hitting a home run and a triple. Luis Moreno also collected three hits with three RBI and two runs and hit a home run. Lucas Scott added two hits three RBI and a home run. Coco Simoneux scored twice and drove in a run for the Invaders.

Kayden Lewis earned the win after allowing six runs four earned on six hits in 8.2 innings. He walked two and struck out nine before Jordan Rodriguez recorded the final out. Cutter Smith took the loss for Trinidad after surrendering nine runs on nine hits in three innings.

Peter Bocchino paced Trinidad with two hits and an RBI while Humberto Maldonado and Jordan Anderson each added a hit. Roswell finished with 14 runs and 12 hits while Trinidad had six runs and six hits.
