San Rafael Pacifics Rally Past Vallejo Admirals 5-4

July 14 2016 The San Rafael Pacifics defeated the Vallejo Admirals 5-4 after scoring four of their five runs in the sixth and eighth innings. San Rafael finished with 11 hits, while Vallejo collected eight. The Pacifics committed two errors and the Admirals made one.

San Rafael broke a 1-1 tie with three runs in the sixth and added another in the eighth to take a 5-1 lead. Vallejo answered with two runs in the seventh and one in the ninth but could not complete the comeback.

Brennan Gillespie led the Pacifics with three hits, two runs and two RBI. Daniel Gonzalez added two hits and three RBI, while Michael Jova had two hits and scored once. For Vallejo, G. Bautista went 3-for-3 with a run and an RBI, and W. Petit and W. Petit each contributed to the Admirals' four-RBI total. Patrick Conroy earned the win, Josh Evans took the loss and Clint Manzo recorded the save.
